We have trekked North on I-75 and have finally arrived at Homewood Suites in Xenia Ohio to begin training for Jordan’s service dog. We arrived a couple hours early from when we could check in, so we went to my favorite restaurant “TGIF’s”
After eating we went to our hotel and unloaded ALL our belongings. We unloaded everything from clothes to toys. Hair straighteners to hair bows. It’s hard living with 4 girls by the way 🙂
I have to get used to it even more since our service dog is a girl as well. It’s sometimes scary living with so many girls. Sometimes I’ll come in from work and each one of them will be crying over something. With estrogen flowing heavy at times I just back out of the house slowly and find something to fix or mow.
Anyway, we’re settled in, unpacked and now get to watch our church service online. What a blessing. If you ever find yourself not able to attend church, you can watch Old Time Baptist Church live at www.oldtimebaptistchurch.com
Not only can you watch live services you can watch past services as well. Today we had Brother Don Pinson filling in for me while I’m gone. He is with the Heritage Foundation of Kentucky. His ministry teaches the forgotten history of our Christian heritage. The heritage that has been under attack and has been attempted to be re-written. I appreciate Don and his family and ministry.
Training begins tomorrow at 10:00am. It will be more of a meet and greet with the trainers as well as meeting Jordan’s new service dog! I’ll be sure to take as many pictures as possible to share with you.
